ROUND TABLE DEDICATED TO THE FIRST CASPIAN ECONOMIC FORUM WAS HELD IN ISTANBUL

On the 30th of April 2019, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey (Ankara) and the General Consulate (Istanbul) together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Economic Cooperation Organization have organized a round table on the First Caspian Economic Forum planned to be held in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza” on the 12th of August of the current year.  The event was held in the headquarters of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. 

The high-level representatives of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, politicians, key figures of Turkmenistan-Turkey Solidarity and Cooperation Society, representatives of private companies, as well the diplomatic corps located in Istanbul, mass media and other high guests took part in the round table meeting.

At the opening of the sitting, the Turkmen diplomats have informed about the start-up of large-scale preparations to the First Caspian Economic Forum to be held in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza” on the 12th of August 2019 and stressed the deep meaning of holding this first in history major Caspian event on the Day of Caspian Sea.   The multifaceted preparations to the First Caspian Economic Forum and related events are being carried out in accordance with the Conception of holding the Forum that was approved by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.  / Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan /
